Some shops are built on spreadsheets and strategy. Ours was built on fabric pulls, late nights at the sewing machine, and two very opinionated dogs named Thom and Mathilda.
Over 20 years ago, I picked up quilting — and I never looked back. What started as a creative outlet became a full-blown passion, a stash that took over the house, and eventually, this little shop I pour my whole heart into.

Thom & Mathilda is a place curated with love. You’ll find fabrics that make my heart sing — think rainbows, stars, pink, hearts, and yes, the occasional pony or two. Every collection, every precut, every quilt kit has been chosen because I genuinely love it and believe you will too. Nothing lands in this shop just to fill space.

Behind the scenes, I have my husband — my biggest supporter, on-call machine technician, and surprisingly excellent color consultant. He may not quilt, but he shows up every time I need him, and this shop wouldn’t be the same without him.

But more than fabric, this is a community. A place where every quilter — no matter who you are, who you love, or where you’re on your quilting journey — is welcome here. Creativity belongs to everyone, and so does this shop.

So pull up a chair (watch out, Thom might already be in it), dig into the collections, and find something that makes you happy.
